Matthew Ashurst

Obtaining his BA Hons in Fine Art at Canterbury University of the Creative Arts in 2001, Matthew then qualified and progressed into  teaching. He is now at Chelmsford College of Art teaching Graphics.

At the same time, he has exhibited fully over the last ten years and he is currently intrigued by the link between ' Street Art ' and ' Fine Art '. Using found objects such as science lab boxes as canvasses, his works are carefully crafted and more like opportunist installations.
